Roanoke Was Great!
Hey everyone. Just a quick note as I am flying home from the VA PTA Convention.
If you ever have a chance to go to Roanoke, VA for a getaway with your loved one and/or friends, stay at the Hotel Roanoke. It is right downtown and a beautiful hotel setting. They just had the grand opening for a new art museum within two blocks of the hotel.
Go in October or early November. The Blue Ridge Mountains were absolutely glowing with fall colors.
VA PTA knows how to put on a great convention to support their leaders throughout the state. This team, as you will see in photos to be uploaded this week, knew how to have a great time in all aspects of the convention, but at the same time providing workshops to meet the needs of both new and veteran leaders.
I can't wait to come back to VA. Thanks for making us a part of the family.
